An augmented sinus generally takes two to three days of healing following your procedure. After the sinus lift, Dr. Winter will provide you with gauze to bite down on which helps stop bleeding.

Patients should change the gauze pad every hour or so to ensure that blood clots don’t form. If your surgical area continues to bleed after a couple of days, please give our office a call right away – 248-642-3800.
